Haunted Forest Original Watercolor Bookmarks

A misty forest with a few tiny ghosts hiding among the trees. 👻

I painted this spooky forest as one larger original watercolor, then cut the finished painting into six individual bookmarks. Each bookmark features a different section of the same forest and its own little ghost, so every one is completely unique.

The front is painted in moody shades of black, gray, and muted blue-purple, with white hand-painted ghosts peeking out from between the trees. The reverse is also hand-painted with a coordinating soft gray-to-blue watercolor wash and signed by me.

Each bookmark is painted on Arches 140 lb cold-pressed watercolor paper using professional-quality watercolor paints. Both sides are sealed with Dorland’s Wax Medium for added protection while preserving the natural texture and matte appearance of the watercolor paper. Each bookmark is finished with a coordinating velvet ribbon and comes with a protective bookmark sleeve.
